Dr Ashley Beckett
With a PhD specialising in Occupational Health plus frontline experience as a Service Fitness and Wellbeing Advisor, Ash has worked directly with operational firefighters for the past 3 years.
His PhD focused on cardiovascular disease risk measurement and identifying contributing behaviours. This lead to real-world interventions to improve firefighter health. He is experienced in laboratory-based assessment techniques including gas analysis, spirometry, blood biomarker testing, and advanced body composition measurement. Ash combines evidence-based practice with a practical understanding of the emergency services environment.

Pete Rumbold
For the last 10 years, Pete has been programming rehabilitation exercises for stroke survivors and neurological condition sufferers. Pete has personal experience of stroke and has used this to become the Midland's leading expert in this area.
Mike Grisenthwaite
Mike is the founder of the Cyclist's Fighting Cancer charity. He is also a survivor or Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Mike understands the issues relating to fitness post a cancer diagnosis like no other. He is the perfect assist to anybody who wishes to come back stronger from cancer.
Stuart Bull
After transforming his own life through fitness by losing over 10 stones and rebuilding his health from the ground up, Stuart has dedicated himself to helping others find their strength too.
As a qualified Personal Trainer with a Level 2 Safeguarding certificate, Stuart is passionate about inspiring young people to believe in their potential, not just physically but mentally as well.
Stuart works hard to make fitness accessible, fun, and empowering. Showing students that it’s not about being the best, it’s about giving your best. His approach is friendly, supportive, and built around creating a positive relationship with health and self-belief that can last a lifetime.
Whether it’s in a PE session, a workshop, or a motivational talk, stuart's goal is simple; to help every young person realise that they are stronger than they think and capable of more than they yet know.
